Baron Marochetti
Minton

Ceramic
This shows the range of Marochetti's work. It was not unusual for sculptors to design these sorts of pieces, though. In the Great Exhibition, Marocchetti had exhibited a large terracotta vase with bas-reliefs of mythological subjects: Neptune and Amphitrite (goddess of the sea) on one side, and "Sirens restraining Boreas" on the other (Great Exhibition, 710).
