Ana Abril Hernández cursa Grado en Estudios Ingleses en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y tuvo la oportunidad de unirse al proyecto de la Victorian Web en el curso académico 2010/11. Durante su etapa escolar realizó diversos trabajos literarios y artísticos y fue galardonada por varios de ellos publicándose éstos en la revista de dicha institución. Así mismo, ha realizado los estudios de Lengua Inglesa impartidos por la Escuela Oficial de Idiomas de Madrid obteniendo en el año académico 2008/09 el certificado correspondiente al último nivel que esta Escuela otorga. También ha colaborado con la revista de esta Escuela escribiendo artículos de crítica y otras narraciones literarias, una de las cuales obtuvo el primer premio literario el año académico 2006/07.
Recientemente, Ana ha conseguido el titulo del curso El texto digital ante la encrucijada del libro electrónico y del hipertexto impartido en la Escuela de Verano del Escorial de la Universidad Complutense en el año 2010. También, ha participado en la creación de un blog literario llamado This is a literary blog guiado por la Doctora Asunción López-Varela en el año 2010. Además, Ana ha recibido una Beca de Excelencia otorgada por la Comunidad de Madrid por su expediente académico.
Dado su interés en los campos literario y lingüístico de las culturas norteamericana e inglesa encamina sus estudios hacia la especialización para trabajar en ellos en el futuro.

Ana Abril Hernández studies the Degree in English Studies at Complutense University in Madrid and had the opportunity of joining the project of the Victorian Web in the 2010/11 academic year. During her school time she completed several literary and artistic works and was awarded for some of these with their publication in the school’s journal. She has also taken the English Language studies given by the Escuela Oficial de Idiomas in Madrid and obtained in the 2008/09 year the certificate for the highest level this institution grants. She has also collaborated on this School’s paper with review articles and other literary narrations, one of which was awarded with the first literary prize in the 2006/07 year.
Ana has recently obtained a certificate for the course El texto digital ante la encrucijada del libro electrónico y del hipertexto at the Summer School in El Escorial from the Complutense University in 2010. She has also participated in the creation of a literary blog called This is a literary blog guided by Prof. Asunción López-Varela in 2010. Moreover, Ana has received an Excellence Scholarship given by the Comunidad de Madrid for her grades.
Due to her interest in the literary and linguistic fields of the English and American cultures she aims to specialize in these realms to work on them in the future.
