The Japanese troupe at the Lyceum is well worth seeing. We regret the death of the top-spinner, who (according to the Era) was “originally a very robust, healthy man, apparently about forty years of age.” The adverb originally suggests queer speculations regarding the top-spinner’s birth. Many of the feats performed by these Japanese are thrilling, and the remainder are nationally characteristic.
