Bronze (a replacement of the marble original); fountain structure beneath a mixture of grey and pink granite. fountain 3.14m high overall; group 1.38m high Signed: on the back of the rocky support of the figure — “DALOU/ 1879;” on the west side of the granite base of the statue — “J. EDMESTON ARCHT/ 1878.” At the north-east end of Royal Exchange Buildings at the entrance to the alley leading to Finch Lane.
