Portrait of a Unidentified Man (Extreme Left)
Unknown designer and manufacturer
Location: Kingston Hill, Surrey
The house in which this window appears was built for the father of the novelist John Galsworthy (1867-1933) in 1870. Of the three houses built for the family on Kingston Hill, this was the one in which they stayed longest. They moved to London in 1886. This large window over the stairwell is thought to be original. No one has so far been able to identify the portraits.
