St Peter in Acts of the Apostles, at St Peter's, Hinton Road, Bournemouth. This three-light window by James Clark & Eaton was installed in 1945, at the west end of the north aisle, to replace an original blown out during World War II. One of several here with a special focus on the saint to whom the church is dedicated, it illustrates the texts written below it, from left to right: "Ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost" (as Peter baptises people in Acts 2, 38); "Silver and gold have I none but such as I have give I thee" (as Peter heals the man on crutches, Acts 3, 6); and "Thy money perish with thee" (as Peter rejects the money offered to him by Simon the Sorcerer, condemning him for supposing that he could buy the "gift of God," Acts 8, 20). Notice St Peter's keys in the highest tracery light.
