Christopher Rollason is a UK national, translator and scholar living in Luxembourg. He graduated in English from Trinity College, Cambridge, and obtained his Ph.D at York University with a thesis on Edgar Allan Poe. Until 1997 he was a lecturer at Coimbra University, Portugal. He has publised widely in India, the UK, the US, Spain, Peru, Chile, etc, in the areas of literary, linguistic, cultural and translation studies. He was Visting Professor at JNU Delhi in 2006, and is a member of the Modern Language Assopciation, AEDEAN (Spanish Association for Anglo-American Studies) and ESSE (European Society for the Study of English).
