Mr. Bull: — “Confound the fellow, wuth his tricks and his smeaking around the corner. Let only puthis head out, and I’ll ———”

While a firecracker (Cabul letter) explodes, a Russian figure who's just thrown it hides behind the corner. A bit iof graffiti on the wall at uppee right asks “Who cares for John Bull”?
