Seated statue of St. Mark, by H. H. Armstead, together with (right) the sculptor's design. The statue is the second in the row of the four Evangelists on the side of the south-west tower of Llandaff Cathedral. The Evangelist is identified by his usual iconography: a winged lion, seen in relief just below him.
