A Bronze Memorial
Sir George Frampton
Source: 1898 Academy Architecture and Architectural Review
The memorial, which features lapis lazuli and copper as well as bronze, was to Charles Mitchell. It was installed in St George's Church, Jesmond, near Newcastle. The central figures at the bottom may look like (or even be) Frampton's Arthurian heroines, but were intended to represent various virtues. See "Memorial to Charles Mitchell."
