Edward VII Post Boxes. Left: At Casemates by the north entrance to Main Street, in Gibraltar. Right: At West Grove, near the junction with Hersham Road, Walton-Thames, Surrey. The base of the one on the left clearly shows the maker's name: Handyside. Andrew Handyside & Co, Derby, supplied many of the familiar cast-iron post boxes that are still in use today. Both these must, of course, have dated from Edward VII's short reign, 1901-1910.
